The first test flight with SmartFish Design 10 was completed. The handling qualities are very positive, and also the maximum flight speed is as calculated bei CFD. Even the climb performace is quite good, though the model is too heavy and weighs 4.1kg instead of 3.0 kg.

For the modelists: Design 10 is powered with a Schuebeler Impeller, a Plettenberg 220 30 A4 SP4 brushless motor and 20 normal NiCd cells with 2400mAh. Flight times are around 4 minutes flying full throttle with a horinzontal maximum speed of 250km/h.
