The results from the optimisation of low speed flight characteristics have been directly integrated into the new design of HyFish G2. The moulds have been milled at TZU in Ainet, and LTB Borowski is now building the new HyFish model.

Milling the moulds was a challenging task, since the design of SmartFish is just made out of free form surfaces, but the TZU did a great job.

The integration of the fuel cell will be realized by DLR in December, and the first flight will be made within the following next weeks.
